LA Galbi (LA 갈비)
LA Galbi is a version of Galbi that originated in Los Angeles.
We use USDA Prime beef short ribs that are cut flanken style. This cut is not as common in Korea as it is in America. So when Koreans immigrated to America, this is what they made galbi with.
Because you don't need to worry about overcooking it, LA Galbi is the perfect dish for a large cookout due to how easy it is to cook in large batches.

1. Thaw the frozen meat overnight.
2. Grill meat on a pan or grill. Cooking with charcoal adds more flavor.
3. Use scissors to cut meat between the bones.
Simple to eat!
Eating galbi can be as simple as having it with a side of rice.
For a more balanced meal, grill your favorite vegetables alongside the meat or add a fresh salad.
