Preparing BBQ

Korean BBQ is generally cooked on a charcoal grill. If you don’t have access to one or don’t want to set one up, then it can be cooked just as well on a stovetop. A cast iron or non-stick pan or a griddle would all work.

This video shows how to cook our Traditional Marinated Galbi, but the process is the same for all BBQ meats.

  • Rice

For a quick and simple meal, you can make yourself a BBQ rice bowl.

  • Banchan / salad

To bring more balance to the meal you can eat with Korean banchan.

If you don't have access to any, then a fresh, oil or vinegar based salad would work too.

  • Lettuce wrap

Up your game even more by making lettuce wraps with a slice of garlic and pepper, and some of our ssamjang which is included with all BBQ orders.

Preparing soups and stews

Cooking our soups and stews is as easy as boiling water. Just place the frozen contents into a pot, add water and then slowly bring to a boil.

This video shows this process using our Beef Short Rib stew, but the process is the same for all our soups and stews.

How to eat

Korean soups and stews are usually had with rice.

Add rice directly into soups.

Have the rice separately for stews.
